Wake Up With Chelsea Handler

Amazon’s voice assistant, Alexa, has a lot of great features, but perhaps the most charming is the “good morning” feature, when the voice assistant will start your day with jokes and interesting facts, or even offer to tell you a scary story. Well, from now until Aug. 22, the feature gets even better: Thanks to a special collaboration between iHeartRadio and Amazon, comedian Chelsea Handler will take over joke duties from Alexa! Just say “good morning, Alexa” to get a special greeting and banter from Chelsea herself, with her trademark acerbic wit.

While Alexa’s jokes tend to be on the “dad humor” side, with classics like “I’d tell you an underwear joke, but I want to keep this brief,” Chelsea will start your morning with her signature blend of biting sarcasm and refreshing honesty. The comedian is a busy woman - not only has she been touring the United States promoting her book, Life Will Be The Death Of Me, she's also been recording her podcast of the same name, talking about the lessons and revelations she’s learned during her time in therapy. Ask Alexa to play Chelsea’s podcast so you can hear episodes with Orange Is The New Black’s Natasha Lyonne, Friday Night Light’s Connie Britton, Will and Grace’s Sean Hayes, and CNN’s Jake Tapper, discussing Chelsea’s drug experiences, weight-lifting, dating history, childhood, and more. For laugh-out-loud humor and profound self-awareness, listen to Life Will Be The Death Of Me, and don’t forget to say “good morning, Alexa” now until Aug. 22 to get a Handle-r on your morning!

If you want to be sure you're listening to the podcasts everyone else is checking out, iHeartRadio has you covered.
