Carrie Underwood Shares Sweet Throwback Photo For Oldest Son's Birthday

Five years ago, Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, welcomed their first son, Isaiah into the world. To celebrate Isaiah turning five, the country star shared a heartfelt Instagram post.

"He is five today," Underwood wrote alongside a throwback photo. "Where did these last five years go? It’s so bittersweet watching your children grow up. You want them to stay little and chubby and cuddly forever but it’s also so much fun seeing them turn into little people!"

"Isaiah, you are funny and smart and such a caring little boy! You already have so much love for God and for all those around you. The day I became your mother was the day my life changed forever. You are five today but you will always be my baby boy...no matter how old you get. Thank you for being you."

Isaiah is a big brother to Underwood and Fisher's younger son, Jacob, who just turned one in January. At the time, Underwood described Jacob as "smiley, crazy, smart, soooo fast and into everything!" She also mentioned how much he loves cake, which is clear based on several photos shared, which can be seen below.

Underwood has had a busy start to her year. Between celebrating both of her son's birthdays, she's also gearing up for the release of her new book, Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life.

The new book will feature stories from Underwood regarding her personal wellness, including details of her fitness routine called Fit 52. Additionally, it will cover more personal matters such as pressures that come with Underwood's life in the public eye.

Underwood will travel to four cities in March to coincide with the arrival of the book on March 3. For more information on the upcoming book tour go here.
